As the entire nation celebrated with zest and enthusiasm. Team Madura put up a show to remember! Madura Manufacturing commemorated 75 years Indian Independence with enthusiastic and vibrant celebrations across all units. About 14,000 employees across geographies, unit size, language and cadre participated in the events. On 15th August, the National flag was hoisted by the security teams in respective factories. Each of the 10 factories were decked up with flags, balloons and employees dressed in hues of the national flag.
Department-wise decoration competitions, relevant quiz and singing contests were carried out on the shop floor of each unit. On 16th August, employees sang the National Anthem across all units of Madura, from Karnataka to Orissa, following which sweets were distributed to all employees as well.
Toddlers from the factory creche participated with their fancy-dress competition, dressed up as national leaders and freedom fighters and were presented with gifts. We even involved the neighbouring rural communities in Rangoli fairs for women and Drawing competition/Pick-And-Speak competition for school children, in association with the CSR cell of the company.
