As the global textile industry pivots towards sustainability, India is leading the charge, proving that fashion and responsibility can go hand in hand. Bharat Tex 2025, India’s largest global textile event, was a definitive step towards this movement – celebrating sustainability, circularity, and the country’s deep-rooted textile heritage. With groundbreaking projects launched and industry pioneers coming together, this event has truly secured its space as the premier platform for the future of Indian fashion.
For ABFRL, it was an opportunity to showcase how our brand’s blend heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation impeccably. Our lifestyle, ethnic, and international brands brought their unique perspectives to Bharat Tex at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, proving how we continue to set the benchmark in the industry.
Let’s take a deep dive into our showcase at this phenomenal event.
ABFRL AT Bharat Tex 2025
The Big Fabric Wedding
Fashion undoubtedly burns bright in the grand celebrations of an Indian wedding, bringing together tradition and modernity. Our brands brought their A-game for this monumental showcase at Bharat Tex.
● Louis Philippe – Royal Wedding Treasures
A tribute to the modern Indian groom, this collection featured luxurious velvets and intricate embellishments that took wedding attire to a whole new level, embodying the statement “When sophistication meets grandeur, you get a Louis Philippe groom.”
● Van Heusen – VH Evening
The VH Evening collection proved that wedding wardrobes don’t have to be restrictive. Pieces that seamlessly transition from work meetings to wedding receptions made this collection a game-changer. Meanwhile, the Born of Art collection, inspired by Renaissance and Cubism, brought an artistic touch to contemporary fashion.
● Allen Solly – The Tuxedo Wedding
With over 50 varieties of party suits and blazers, Allen Solly showcased its rich collection of premium fabrics, bold hues, and craftsmanship – perfect for those who want to make a statement.
● Peter England – The Bollywood Wedding
Peter England showcased its phenomenal collection, which fused Bollywood panache with Indian wedding grandeur. If you wanted a wedding wardrobe straight out of a movie, this was it.
● Pantaloons
From printed coordinated sets to sharply tailored classics, Pantaloons showcased a diverse collection that catered to every wedding function. Whether it was breezy kurta sets, statement dresses, or versatile accessories, there was something for everyone.
● House of Masaba – Masaba Bride & Spring Summer 2025
The Masaba Bride was a heartfelt love letter to the incredible Indian brides. From the ceremony to letting her hair loose at the after-party or being coy yet confident at her haldi-mehendi, each piece is tailored to make the bride feel liberated, powerful, and completely authentic. And the dedicated Spring Summer showcase didn’t fail to turn heads either. With its bold, experimental aesthetic, the collection reinforced how the brand continues to challenge conventions.
Craftsmanship In Motion
Jaypore brought Lambani craftsmanship to life at Bharat Tex. Visitors watched in awe as artisans from Karnataka showcased their skills live, stitching together colourful threads, mirror work, and intricate patchwork.
Lambani art is a story of sustainability, creativity, and tradition. Practised by the Banjara community, this craft transforms discarded fabric into stunning textile art, embodying the principles of recycle and reuse. Jaypore’s showcase, thus, perfectly embodied the farm, fiber and fashion aspect of Bharat Tex.
W: Taking Indian Fashion to The World
Bharat Tex also provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate W’s historic showcase at New York Fashion Week. Bringing India’s sartorial heritage to an international stage, W presented three standout collections:
● Indian Saga – A tribute to India’s textile traditions, reimagined through contemporary silhouettes.
● Runway Chic – Bold, experimental, and playful, proving that Indian fashion is anything but predictable.
● The Wedding Drama – Voluminous skirts, dramatic capes, and intricate embellishments, because no Indian fashion showcase is complete without a nod to wedding couture.
